Top 10 Most Educated Countries in the World Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has produced another study ranking the world’s countries based on their educational attainment. The number of years of education that adults have received, ranging from lower secondary school to tertiary education, is used to rank each country’s overall level of educational attainment in comparison to other nations in the same year. The countries with the highest levels of educational attainment are generally located in Europe and North America; however, several developing countries.

What defines an educated country?

A developed country has a high level of development according to some criteria. This can include economic development, human development, and other measures. Many developed countries also have high levels of education. Education is often seen as a critical factor in evolution. Therefore, we decided to look at the world’s most educated countries. These are based on the percentage of people who complete secondary school and above.
The list below comes from UNICEF data for 2022. First, we’ll look at the top ten, from least educated to most educated.

Canada

In recent years, Canada has developed into one of the most educated countries in the world. According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, over half of Canadians aged 25 to 64 have completed some form of tertiary education, with the majority holding a bachelor’s degree.
